Can anyone please tell me how I can share files on my 2 PC's through my Belkin router. Both computers are on the internet through the router but I dont know how to get them to share files and printers through it. File and Print Sharing is enabled on both machines running XP Pro Service Pak1 with ZoneAlarm Pro firewall. I can't remember but I think the Belkin Router also has a firewall. XP's firewall is disabled in both boxes. I heard it was not hard but I am new at this. Please help if you can.

Im assuming your router has a built in switch/hub or your using an external switch/hub connected to one of the ports on the router.
Another thing, you need to dissable incomming and outgoing NetBIOS in the internet and trusted zone by unchecking the boxes and make sure you have the tab on both set to medium.
Im not at the computers right now but I do believe just unchecking the NetBIOS on the Internet zone will do the job, but just to be safe uncheck the NetBIOS on both of them then you can check the ones you want to block later on !!!
