I have a network of 4 computers, all sharing files. All of them work, but one. On the one, I can't access my music folder and a download folder I made that holds downloads. File and printer sharing are enabled on all computers. When i try to access the folder from my computer (mapped network drive), or my network places.. it says access denied. Before this problem, everything worked fine. The weird thing is, I can't only access those two folders, but in my shared documents folder on that computer, which is shared, i can access no problem. Please help!

Try un-sharing the folders and sharing them again.

Then, from the DOS window, type in net share, and make sure $IPC is listed. If not, then at the prompt type in net share $IPC.

Give that a go, for starters.

How to fix a computer, lesson #1.

Gather your computer into a pile. Next, grab a chair and stand on it. Finally, shout with all your voice, "Does anyone know how to read a manual?"
