File sharing goes wrong once in awh

Hi all, i know how to put computers in network, since i did this in the past for my 2 other pcs, but now i got this lapto and i can connect to the internet, but when i want to transfer my files, to the laptop it will work once every 5 tries, when it fails, it frezes the laptop, so i have to reboot every time, and yes they belong to the same workgroup, help me please, and sorry for my english.
