I have a link of 3Mbps laid through a fiberoptic cable to my premises. I am using a linux router to distribute it to my local LAN. NOw is there any media converters (if any) so that i can conncet this incoming link to a ROUTER(cisco) to the SERIAL(v.35 conncetor)port and from there i will distribute it to my local LAN?

Do you have a empty module port? Some Cisco have spaces for modules for specific connection types.
The device is either called a fiber optic converter or a tranceiver (can't remember).
