I tried to connect my Xbox 360 to the enternet with my laptop by plugging the xbox to the laptop with an ethernet cable i've done the same action with this laptop before but then after having it repaired it can no longer preform this action because the laptop fails to renew its IP Address. I know the problem is not the Xbox or the ethernet cable. The laptop is an older Dell Model with Windows XP. Please Help.

What was repaired, the laptops hardware, or you mean your clicked repair connection?

What options do you hve on the xbox, does it have a fixed ip....?

So you are using two network cards, what ip are you giving the second network card?
