Does any one have a thought or know where I can find the EZ-Click installation Wizard for the SMC Barricade wireless router.???

Google seems to be of no help and Barricade seems to have everything at their site except the cd to download.

Hope someone here can help.

There is probably no place to download it because you don't need it to set up the router. All you need is the manual for the router which should be available for download. Download that nd read it, its not that difficult.

Right.

I gave the short story in my request.....

Imagine:
I have put together 30 + computers to be donated to people who have lost everything and are currently living in a motel that has been converted to apartments.

Once built and given out there is no support. Any computer that fails for any reason can be returned but they go on the waiting list again....up to 6 months. (swamped)

All needed software win 98 2000 xp home and pro is also provided....with all legal lic.
Some are Mars.

The apartment provides a wireless internet
connection. So 30 + smc Barricade routers will also be sent.

If they cannot work through setting it up manually in case of a system crash....the
donated computer is useless.

So software for the computer is a must.

Seems like a home run to help people get back on their feet.....

So what has that got to do with anything and why 30 + routers when one would be plenty. Unless you have 30 Internet connections, 30 router are of no use to you.

There is no software that absolutely needs to be installed on a computer to drive a router, non at all. All you need to do is configure it once with one computer usually a wired one. Setting up a router via wireless is fraught with problems.

What yo do need is thirty wireless Interface Cards; one for each computer.

Seems someone as Dizzy as myself knows what I am doing and is sending the cd.

I did set one up as a test on my computer manually and it runs fine.....but to slow for me.
