How many LAN ports on your router and how many are in use?

If your router has 4 LAN ports and you only have one in use, then you can just plug the xbox and TV into it now. If however, your router only has a single LAN port, or all 4 are in use, then you'll want to plug a small switch (say 8 ports) into a LAN port on your router.
