I have a standard Linksys Wireless router, not a G model 802.11b. I am happy with it and not looking to change it however in my new home I am have weak signal on the opposite end of my home, south side. The wireless router is on the North side. I care nothing about moving the router, reconfig settings etc. My signal reads very low on the south side and i want it higher.
Question: If I buy a Linksys Ethernet Bridge WET11 and place it center in my home, will this device boost my wireless signal on the opposite end of my home to the bedroom?? I think this is better than buying a booster because but I could be work. Need feedback please.

No, a bridge will not do what you want. ALso, you may not get the linksys booster to work with that older B router. Check their website for compatible models. ALso note that even if they say your model is compatible with their booster, you may need to update the firmware to get it to work.
You say that you are not willing to move the location of your router. Can you just move it higher up in room. Up onto a shelf maybe.
Purchasing directional antennas can help aim the signal toward the other side of the house, thus increasing the signal in that direction. Antennas and exact location of both the router and the receiving computer can make all the difference in the world. Sometimes just moving these only a few feet or even inches in any direction is enough to improve the signal.
You did not mention what kind of wireless card or adapter you have on the south side computer. But changing that can help, depending on what you have now.
