Hi all,

Can someone advise me the proper cable type for outdoor purposes. I need a specified cable that is water resistant.

Much appreciated,

Put it in the gray electrical pvc pipe which is water and uv proof.

Personally, having worked with outdoor grade UTP/STP I'd go with the PVC pipe idea before I'd order outdoor cable. The good outdoor grade cable is filled with some type of grease that's really annoying!

See also your local building codes. Above ground and underground might make a huge difference. Call before you dig!
