I tried another attempt to makeing a network connection. I got this error message. How can i fix this problem? that way i can make a Dial up Connection? Cause now i need enternet to install Service pack one on this comp. Any ideas ??

You don't want to try installing a Service Pack via a dialup connection. Chances are it wouldn't work as the SP's are big files.
If it were me, I'd download the SP from a friend's or a business and burn it to CD or copy it to a USB memory key and then I'd take that home and install the SP that way.

It can be done on dial up. I downloaded sp2 266 MB took about 4 to 6 hours. Now days there much bigger and would take longer.
