Im having an issue with sending emails to and from my server. My MX record is "fixymycomputy.com" as pointing to host name and alias is "email" and A record is pointing to "69.116.*.*"(my ip address which im not going to show) with a host name of "mail". SMTP service is setup through a windows 2003 server and is unblocked by my ISP. Port 25 is Forwarded to my server but I still can only send emails to email address of mail.fixymycomputy.com internally/behind my router. I am not able to send an email from a gmail account to (blahbla@gmail.com) to an email address which is setup on the server (blabla@mail.fixymycomputy.com). I am able to telnet to my external IP address using port 25 and it works. I can traceroute to my mail.fixymycomputy.com address through port 25 and the MX records show that it is indeed poiting to my external IP address. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.
