Dual uplink router/switch

in an earlier post by someone else a suggestion to his problem was to get a dual input/uplink router/switch. does this herdware exist? if so who makes them and where would you find them? this would be a nice piece of hardware to have... thanks

By dual uplink you mean a router who has more then one port capable of uplinking to another switch/hub/etc? If that is what you mean there are lots of them. All Netgear routers for example have automatic uplink ports on them. As an example, I have a RT314 by netgear. It is a cable/DSL router w/ 4 ports. I can plug in a hub/switch to any of the 4 ports and it will automatically uplink. All of Netgears currently offered routers have this feature. I believe that LinkSys routers are the same. Not too sure about D-Link!!
