Dual NICs & VPN

VPN Tunnel via HostName works flawless. I loose my WAN capability for Browsers and Email retrival. When VPN is Disconnected normal operations resume. I installed a second NIC expecting to be able to bind VPN and WAN seperately. Same results. VPN binds(?) both NICs (or at least prevents Browser/Email operations). 5mps Cable Modem, NETGRAR FVS318 Router. I desire to bind the VPN with one NIC and maintain normal LAN/WAN capability with the other.
