i have a Link-Max lm341 cable/adsl router and 3 pc's to network w/sbc yahoo dsl. i had it all working with cable, then i switched to dsl and it keeps knocking me off line.i can get on line thru the modem with 1 pc no prob.i have had 1 pc hooked thru the router and it works, but with 2 pc's it looses the sever connection after about 5-10 min.i think its something with the PPPoE that dsl uses.my router has a setting for PPPoE and thats what i had it set for when i have been on line and i let the pc's and dns IP add. setting on auto.so mabye the router's PPPoE gets my connection started and then the dsl PPPoE starts up and knocks the router off or something?. also when 2 pc's were on together i noticed it would send me to the dial up start page not the dsl start page like it does with 1 pc.....help me please

I switched from cable to dsl.
For DSL, you only need to install the dsl software once to configure the router. You don't need to do it on every machine or you will keep getting the message.
on the router, make sure your username is saved on the pppoe field. Once it is saved, then whatever machine you turn on, make sure you have "never dial connection" on tool options

thanks, thats working now but do you assign IP address's to each PC or do you leave it on AUTO?,(protocol, adapter, gateway)and does the PC with the install have to always be on? the networks still knocking each PC offline even with never dial a conn.
