DSL keeps disconnecting.

Comment:

After like 10 minutes of being connected, the DSL light on my modem will flash and disconnect, then reconnect, then 10 minutes later repeat.

Does the DNS server belong to your ISP or are you running DNS on your local network? If the DNS server belongs to the ISP, have you called them? If not, I think it's a good idea. What modem is it? Have you searched Google for DNS problems w/ that modem?
What is the keep alive time set at?

Reply:

The DNS errors are a symptom, not a cause. The PPPoE connection is being shut down (PADT received) prior to a DSL disconnection - hence the DSL light going out. Have you tried resetting or powering-off the modem? What make & model is the modem, and is it cable or 'phone line?

Its a Westell Versalink327w from Verizon DSL.
And yes i've tried everything including uninstalling the software and reinstalling
