Whenever I'm downloading a video/mp3 it goes up to 50.55kb/s.
Is this a dedicated connection, for a 768Kbps/128Kbps package?

well im on 256 upload 576 download and its about that so i would guess something is iffy im not sure what it could be, maybe a fireewall or your behind a proxy, maybe a download accelerator would work... any body else have any ideas?

Well first of all just because you have that fast of a connection it does not mean that what you are going to download at. It would a depend on who and what your downloading from.
