I dropped my 30 GB.
It is a western Digital.
now the HD does not want to work and makes a loud noice. I want to know of a way that i can get the info out.
A company, serive, technique that will help me acomplish this is apreciated.
keep in mind that i'm not talking about bad sectors or corrupt file system or anything like that..
I'm talking about possible physica damage.

easy!
just go to http://www.westerndigital.com/service/rmacreate.html
and make RMA for your HD, dont tell them that u dropped it, just say it's all of the sudden doesnt work.
then, they'll replace it with new one (hope your HD still in waranty period)

Good Luck!

To get data out of the damaged hard disk, give a search string like "professional data recovery service" in any search engine. You should get lot of hits.
