I have a recurring problem with my Win XP and the internet. It happens especially when I put the machine in "hibernate." When I come back up I cannot connect to my ISP and when I run "IPCONFIG" I See that the "Connection specific DNS Suffix" is empty as is the "Default Gateway." The only thing that corrects the problem is to reboot and that really gets old. Any suggestions? I have two computers connected to a Lynxsys router off of a cable modem. The one computer has no problem, its Win 98, but my XP with a Realteck NIC is the problem child. Many thanks. WKN
