Drive letters don't match now.

I installed a new HD and partitioned it differently then before and now my other computer on my LAN has different network dive letters and names for the partitions (drives) on the new one.

Is there a way to delete network drive folders on the second computer and then add them on again?

Hope I made some kind of sense.

If the number of partition you now have is greater than what it used to be, the network drive letters changed sequentially. This is why you are seeing different letters.

I found a solution.

I "unshared" all my drivers on my main computer and shut down. On the other computer I deleted the folder drives and shut down.

I then "shared" all of my drives again on my main computer and then when I turned on my second computer all the drives where there with the proper names and drive letters.

Took about five minutes and cleaned everything up at the same time.

Thanks for the posts
