I am running a wireless network with 4 computers, all running windows xp home, except my laptop which is running pro. Is it possible for the home edition computers to join a domain? If so how would I go about doing this?

Home can't join a domain. You don't have a AD server so you don't have a domain to join.

Perhaps you are thinking about file and print sharing in a WORKGROUP?

Might want to look at the novice/how tos sections here or web search peer to peer networking with XP home for step by step how tos.
