Hi! friend! I would like to know how to configure name of user domain when they log in to my PC. For First try, it can send mail alert by configure in task scheduler. But I want to see the name of user who try to log on my PC, so that I can know who is current log my pc without need to see in event viewer in real time when the system send via email. Therefore, I have 2 questions to ask all of you.

1. How to insert current user name log on to my PC in email notification?
2. How to block other user who try to use my PC (domain user)?

My OS is windows 7 32Bit

Can't help but wonder why you want to do this.

There are EventMonitoring options out there. Google has lots of hits.

As for preventing other users from logging into your PC, is it your personal computer that you have on the Domain? Or a Company computer? Company policy may be that Domain Users have the ability to log into any computer on the Domain. You'll have to check with your IT Department/Network/Domain Administrators on that one.

Come to think of it, you should probably check with them regardless. You may not have permission/privileges to install or run any type of monitoring software.

✔ Best Answer
1. The environment variable %USERNAME% contains the name of the logged on user.

2. The only people who can log on to a standalone Windows computer are those who have user profiles defined on the computer - if you don't want people to log on don't create a profile for them. If you are on a Windows domain this is a question for your Domain Administrator.
