So.....He's my problem, i don't know if its just me but this is confusing the ell out of me.....

I got a computer from a hotel and it was connected to a server, it was actually used to control the pool system.

Now my problem is this PC is configure like a library PC almost. When i download something or save anything or change any setting and reboot my PC it all disappears and goes back to how it was when i got when i try to change my PC from a domain to a work-group and have to restart the settings get erased.

Im not to sure if i am supposed to change something before i convert the Domain PC back to a Home PC.....Im wayyyyyy over my head on this one HELPPP PLEASE!!! =]

Changing the authentication from a Domain to Workgroup won't do you any good unless you have the login information for a Local Administrator account.

I'd buy a legit copy of XP, and reinstall, formatting during the installation.

Everything is legit i have password and users names i just don't get why everything gets deleted when i restart

" I have Windows Xp Professional kinda old school now, and the only things on it are Adaco Eclipse, PSC Webclient 9.1D, Timesaver and Mozilla

that is what it reverts back too every time i restart or shutdown

i can change it to work group and get into a new user name off the domain and then delete the domain off the PC and when i restart it.....BAM everything's gone"
