You cant log on to a Domain with Windows XP Home. One of the differences between XP Home and XP Professional. Not many home users use a domain server.

The only thing you can do is set up a Peer to Peer connection with Windows 2003 server.

You can log onto remote desktop or another remote software to access a domain.

If you connect to the domain controller through My Network Places, you can enter a domain user name and password, and custom permissions on shared files and folders will still work. Thats about the closest thing you can get to domain networking on XP Home.
