I'm moving from a G to a N router. My current desktop network card is about two years old. Do I need a new network card or should my current one serve me well?

Thanks for your help.

That's an impossible question to answer without knowing the make/model of your present network interface.

To find out what you have open Control Panel and expand the "Network Adapters" section. It should tell you there.

Once you have the make/model you could easily google "make/ model specs"

example: D-Link DGE-530T specs

Give the spec sheet a read and it should detail everything including wireless capabilities.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
