Hello everyone!
Hey, no matter what server I try to open, Telnet, HTTP, FTP, nothing works from outside...
Right now I want to make a HTTP server with Apache. It works with the other computers in my network; however it won't be viewed from outside. (And I have my neighbor's wireless connection to test that, hehe.)
I'm pretty sure I've routed the ports correctly with my router. (Buffalo cannot-remember-model wireless router with DD-WRT custom firmware), as it's worked before.
I even replaced my D-Link router with this Buffalo one because I thought that was the cause, but no.
I have a static IP, so I know what to type in my browser. I'm not sure if it responds to ping, I have to check when I get home (not sure if server's up right now and I'm at school).
So I thought BellSouth might be blocking some ports. Maybe that's it?
I registered a domain: http://tsfc.mine.nu
Thanks! ;-)

The answer to the question Does BellSouth block ports? can be best determined by your first researching BellSouth website. HERE is the ideal starting point.
One hint: You may have static IP (required for FTP, etc) but is BellSouth account in your name (you said you are in school).

I can say sbcglobal.net doesn't. It depends on your system exactly.
I agree that a static may be easier but you can also consider a dynamic dns service. A few good ones are free for home users.
I suspect that your have not properly NAT'ed (really PAT) your ip address to port address's.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

Done; seems like they don't. o_O"One hint: You may have static IP (required for FTP, etc) but is BellSouth account in your name (you said you are in school)."
Yes, I have static, and the account is in my dad's name, but he rarely uses it."I agree that a static may be easier but you can also consider a dynamic dns service. A few good ones are free for home users."
Why? :-PI suspect that your have not properly NAT'ed (really PAT) your ip address to port address's."
... I have to do that? Crap. How? *embarrass*-- Leo
