Hi,
I'm using "ECS K7S5A motherboard" with a "SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter".
What is "SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"?, is that my ADSL modem card?
So, do I need to buy an ADSL modem to connect to internet?(with AEI isp at:https://secure.aei.ca/order/)

The SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter is a Network Card or a NIC. This allows access to a network connected via CAT5 cable. In order to connect to the Internet you will need to 1st purchase access to the Internet from an ISP (Internet service provider). They will let you know what you need to connect. If you are connecting via a phone line then you will need a phone modem installed on your PC.

In order to connect to internet using ADSL, you simply need a phone line, an ADSL connection kit (which usually contain an ADSL Modem, and couple of filters (splitters) and manuals. You'd better talk to your ISP and they will help you more.
