I always avoided wireless routers since I thought that they were ONLY wireless. I have a business computer that I do not want to share over the air. Comcast sent me a really nice router for free, and I was surprised to see that you have the option of either wireless/hard wired. I never knew that, and I am really happy that I have the option of both by pressing a simple button to enable/disable the wireless option.

In those that I have used the wireless is disabled by default. You have to log into a user interface by wired connection in order to enable and set up the wireless side.
