Hey again guys,
Once more i turn to you good people for assistance..... computing.net is an invaluable resorce.
My problem..... well basically i have a wireless network in the house, sending the ADSL connection i have to 8 computers. After much research and peaved ponderings, i think ive discovered why when i turn on the pc, MSN messenger connects, but IE or firefox does not for a few minutes afterwards.I think it has something to do with the DNS settings.... or something... Because when the connection drops (randomly) isn't it to do with the thing timing out? Anyway, when this happens and i run the trouble shooter on MSN, it tells me there is a problem with the DNS part.
Anyway, any thoughts on how to rectify this anoying disconnection for IE and why MSN continues to work.... i will much apprechiate.
Thanks again guys, feel free to ask for more info, im pretty sure i know where to look/alter most of the router and network card settings, so feel free to be concise.
Daniel
