Dns & loadbalancing servers issue

Hi All,

I have a situation whereby i have multiple websites hosted on an iis server, which propogates the website content to two other servers every hour, essentially this is a load-balanced server environment.

My problem is that the server that new content is uploaded too (lets call it server 1) will only show the updates via server 2 and 3 at halfpast every hour.

This is really frustrating as you can imagine when doing testing and development as you have to keep refreshing the browser until you hit 'server 1' to see immediate changes or wait till halfpast the hour to have it copied over to servers 2/3.

Is there a way to resolve this by using something like DNS aliases?

Thanks in advance!

You don't have a name resolution issue so dns is not involved.

Solution would be to decrease the upload replication time.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

also to add the sites are running on iis servers.

What i am suggesting is is there a way to create an alias via dns or via the domains registrar panel, essentially allowing me to ensure im always hitting the upload server; for example

apologies in advance, im not to familar as of yet with servers and such, but learning :)
