DNS Client Settings Group Policy

I have created a GPO to set various DNS Client settings (e.g. Suffix search order, etc) on all of our domain computers. The GPO is being pushed successfully (gpresult confirms as much) but when I go into the network connection properties under DNS, the settings don't seem to update as per the GPO?
