I have a problem forwarding ports. I have followed many sites and tutorials about open ports, and none have seemed to work. I open two ports and then put my computer outside the DMZ and the ports then registered that they were open.

Is there any definate way to telling if my ports are open besides using PFPortChecker and is there a way for me to have my ports open and I am in my Belkin's Router's DMZ?

Thanks

The way I understand it, if the machine is in the DMZ, the port doesn't have to be opened on the router. As long as there is a service listening on that port on the machine, that's all you need.
