Alright here goes...

I've got this wireless Print Server from D-Link (DP-311P). It wants me to have a 802.11b card.
No problem, the wireless router handles B and G.

The problem is this: It wants me to be on the wireless connection aswell. Currently, only the laptop is on that connection for obvious reasons.
I prefer to be "grounded", it's safer and quicker.

Can I be grounded and allow for wireless printing from the laptop? I've tried the Windows Wizard, but it scared my with the EXTREME SECRUITY WARNING! Dialog.

What are your experinces with installing D-Link products?

Finally how safe is wireless printing?

Grounded? A return path???

All wireless is unsecure to some extent, but not unsafe beyond normal reason. It is not safe however either.

D-link makes good products. They are more for home and soho applications.

Wireless printing is OK if you need it. It can be hacked and you might run out of paper if someone gets in. I guess they could also get to your files if you use sharing on folders.
