D-Link to D-Link network speed restriction

Specs: Windows XP
I have at D-Link DSL G604T modem/router with 4 computer on network (3 wireless 1 H/W). All will share network capacity except 1 has restricted network speed of 614Kbps (DWL G510 - wireless) even with other computers off line. I have un/reintalled hardware with current drivers from D-Link, still NBG.
Wireless Network Connection Reports:
Speed: 54 Mbps
Signal: Exellent
Status: Connected (obviously)
(They are located 2 metres apart)
What have I missed?

is the card in a slot that is a shared slot on the mainboard? Less performance/ mhz speed in a shared slot.
check your mainboard docs/ move to a different slot

Thanks wanderer. On it's Pat Mallone mate.

Seems really funny because if I download the same file to this machine as well as any other, this machine will see its bandwidth share as about 20 - 30KBps instead of say 80KBps (yeah, I know it is slow @ 1.5Mbps, but I'm a pensioner and can't afford anything else.) Is solid enough, but not taking its fair share of the available bandwidth.
