Hi,
I have DSL modem(5100) from SBC/Yahoo. Works great with 1 system. Now I have a Laptop(XP) to go with my Desktop(2000), and hopefully down the road(Linux desktop)too. I bought a D-link DI-604 router to connect all systems, but for the life of me I can't both systems to connect to the internet. I can do each one thru the router by itself and it works, but I can't get both too. This is wired router. IP for router is 192.168.0.1 and I just make the systems a 192.168.0.2 & 3
Any ideas of the top of someones head, To me the manual is not the greatest and I've heard of folks using the wizard and have no problem...but I am. Thanks for viewing
C

You need to change the systems to "Obtain an IP address automatically" through DCHP from the router.
