Comment:

I just bought this about 3 hours ago, and am having some serious issues with getting my AspireOne to pick it up. I think part of the problem is that since my Acer doesnt have a CD drive, I can't run the config wizard on it. At first I config'd the router with a WPA, but changed it to WEP, in hopes that it would be able to pick up the signal, but once I did this, the wireless network config on my laptop totally f---ing vanishes. Does anyone have any potential solutions, or suggestions?
At this point, I'm completely f---ing lost.

You never need the cd to configure the router.

start with no encryption so you eliminate it as the source of the disconnect.

If the laptop wireless client doesn't support wep you can't used it. Your laptop wireless is the base for then configuring the router.
