Hi!

I got a little problem only, it is when i try to play counter-strike over the internet. It is when i try to logon on to a game server, then it retrying 4 times and after that it says that it could not connect with the server.

The server works fine without the broadband router but when i use the router it dosenīt works. I have tried to open the right portīs but it didnīt helped.

I got the latest firmware 1.62 Build 6(european version), i have also talked with d-link support and they sayed that it should just work fine with the latest firmware.

Do anyone have any good suggestion, is it maybe anything wrong with the game or god knows what. All others "apps" works fine, like MSN messenger, Kazaa etc etc.

Cheers!

hi, i have a 604 as well and what you have to do is determine what port the game server uses. after that, you must enable it on the router and then have the packets forward to your machine. depending on how many comps. you have on your network and if DHCP is enabled, your ip address locally should be 192.168.0.10x go to start->run and type cmd. after that (at the command promt) type ipconfig... that will tell you the ip address of your machine. i suggest you use a static ip address on the machine that you plan on having the packets forwarded to because the DHCP server in the router randomily assigns the ip addresses. to do this, go into network connections, right-click the icon for "Local Area Network" select the properties for "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)"... after that put in your desired ip address (note: in order for your network to continue functioning without error, i suggest you make your ip address 192.168.0.2)
hope this helps
