First of all, I believe you have tried rebooting.

Second of all, souble check your computing setting, you should
enable DHCP.

I assume you get an IP from the D-Link using a good old wire?
Can you log in the web admin BTW?

If that's not too much problem, try restoring the D-Link.

Yes I have rebooted. Dhcp is enabled. Router works fine with hard wire. Problem only exists wireless. It will work wireless. It just stops working after a while maybe 15 mins, 1/2 an hour or more! The following message is diplayed in "The Event Viewer".

Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0018F33B6D04. The following error occurred:

The operation was canceled by the user. . Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.

It is starting to sound like an intermittent problem.

A goggling on your log message gives me this:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/su...
ProdName=Windows%20Operating%20System&ProdVer=5.2
&EvtID=1003&EvtSrc=DHCP&LCID=1033

You could narrow down the source by trying to connect your
computer to another AP and see if the problem persists. Try
also connect another computer to your D-Link AP and see if
you get the same problem.
