I just got cable from Comcast. I am using their Surfboard modem. When I connect from there to my main cpu the connection is fine. I have win xp btw. When i connect my cable to my D-link 604 router. First I am not getting any internet activity once i connect to the router. all cables are hooked up properly. The thing is when i open IE explorer and type in the number it says in my manual, forget number atm cause im at work. A box comes up and I type admin and leave password blank, nothing happens from there. Is that because the firewall that comes with xp is enabled or is it something else. any help would be appreciated.
