Ok, this one's just annoying.
I set up my "My Documents" folder to be located on a 40GB file server, sync'd with that offline files thing. Problem is, about every minute or so it tells me that I am no longer working onliine." I tdoesn't lie- I am unable to access files on the server(although I can still ping it, and it shows up in the list of computers in my network places). This is a hard-wired ethernet connection. Another computer, connected wirelessly, with nearly the same config, can do offline files flawlessly, and never disconnects from the server. Why not this one? Both machines are windows XP pro, and server is Win2K server. Please help!

I would check the hardware settings first, for example, configure all of the computers' network cards for half duplex. Most Hubs don't support full duplex.

We have exactly the same problem in a rather complex environment (multiple W2K servers, Novell Servers). Are you on a Windows only network?

Also experiencing the same issue. A few months back when working on this I saw that it was an issue Microsoft was aware of and would be correct w/ a patch (though didn't detail the problem in the patch) with SMB... Ran the patch in question and didn't do a damn thing to fix it.
