Disconnect Coaxial Cable

I have a Motorola Surfboard SB5300 modem. I want to disconnect the coaxial cable from the modem for some days. Can I do that?

sure though just cutting the power to the modem would accomplish the same thing but be easier

Thanks for the prompt response.
I need to shift the furniture and hence want a phyiscal disconnect done. I tried , but the jack isn't coming out.

The coaxial cable is usually not a slip
connection but is threaded.
