Hello.I have U.S. Robotics 56K voice Win 1806 Modem. My dial up connection fails frequently. Is this the hardware or windows problem.I have Avast 2008 antivirus runnning all the time. Also when it connects at usually 45.2 Kbps. Its surfing and file download speed is very slow.It downloads a file at 2-3 Kbps. I use opera 9.24.Suppose my net connection is bieng used only by a single file download and it has downloaded 5 MB,the taskbar internet connection icon will show probably more than 8 MB. Is ther a free software to correct this and optimize its speed. Thanks
