Comment:

At my work we have a DHCP server and many pc's using it

There is one pc that wont log onto the domain: wilm01

I've entered the reghack EnablePlainTextPassword several times and have come to the conclusion this is not the problem

I get the following error message when I try to renew the PPP Adapter and the Ethernet Adapter:

Error

DHCP Server Unavailable: Renewing Adapter

Should I try switching floor ports and/or removing the client and protocols from Network Neighbourhood?

DHCP server is RedHat Linux 6 and Clients are Win 98

Thanks

Personally, I'd try setting a static IP address at the high end of the DHCP scope and manually setting up the connection to see if there might be another problem.
