OK, We've tried this on two laptops now to no success. I have a Dell TrueMobile 1170 Access Point which I need to access the CLI (Command Line Interface) via Hyperterminal. I am using the settings that Dell said (http://support.ap.dell.com/docs/network/tmap1170/en/cli_ref.htm) of 9600-8-N-1, and I follwed the instructions there. But whenever I connect to the access point using the serial interface, i just get garbage. Does anyone have any ideas?
