Hi -

Im mighty confused.
Ive just set my Dell Laptop upto a Belkin Router and it worked fine.

I then tried to setup a Toshiba network upto be wireless.
I installed a Wireless adaptor to set up wireless on it.
It is saying the default gateway is offline however when I tried to obtain the IP address on the toshiba, it doesnt give one.
Please help?

What OS are you running on the problem machine? What router are you using? What does ipconfig show on the problem machine?

Thanks for the replies.

I entered the correct encryption key, It is a belkin cable compatible router, the Ipconfig shows everything except the default gateway and im not sure what OS is sorry?

OS is Operating System. What is showing in ipconfig? Specifically, I meant the ip addresses that are showing.

Take a look on how to configure wireless adapter in XP or Vista here.. See whether it helps.. OS means Operating System, it can be XP, Vista, Linux, etc...
