Deleting temporary file folders

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 2.4 GHz / 991 MB
I am trying to delete roughly 39,000 temporary file folders. Everytime I go to delete them end program now pops up. I am very frustrated and need help. The computer is running irradically. Thank you, Shelley

If you are really sure, that all files, you wonna delete, should really be deleted, your can mark the folder or all the things inside the folder an press SHIFT+DEL.
This will delete all files without putting them into the recycle.bin.

You can also try using a program like Ccleaner to delete them.
It's a great tool to keep your computer running smooth.
