I have had a few computers automatically change their
default gateway to 192.168.1.99. I have done nslookup,
tried pining the address and it won't show up anywhere.
Even checked DNS for an entry. I have checked all our
routers and servers to make sure they don't have the
address as well.

Can any one give me any help on how to find out where
this is comign from?

Check your DHCP scope and ensure you only have one IP address entered for the gateway (needless to say, the correct address).

Or perhaps you had someone bring in a wireless router from home and hooked it up with it doing dhcp also.

Imagine the power of knowing how to internet search

I have checked the DHCP scope and all routers in the building. Nothing is set to DHCP or to give out that address. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Other note, I just got a macbook and when connecting to a cisco wireless ap that i have on my desk it gets the address, but when going into the ap it shows no 192.168.1.99 address anywhere.

Thanks,

Ted
