Hello,
I am currently living in a country in Asia, where Broadband/Cable internet access is still a novelty. Thus, the plans are expensive and not user friendly.
My current 64Kbps CABLE internet access costs me about USD$24/- for a TOTAL OF 750MB data transfer, which includes DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD.
Thus, it is working out very expensive.
I believe there are ways to go about downloading files, mp3s, jpgs, where the actual download size recorded by the ISP is much smaller than the actual size of the file.
I was hoping someone could help me with this issue, my current plan is working out too expensive and I have no alternative.
Thanks
RJ

yes, unfortunately there is no way to do that. you may want to try internet cafes, because they might not charge you for every KB you download or upload, but they charge you for the total hour you use. It might be a better choice for you.
cheers!
Alireza
