Why would you need two firewalls?

I can think of a couple reasons where one would want more than one firewall, we run multiples where I work.

The big "danger" as I see it is complexity. When it comes to computing always apply the KISS principle. If you don't need a second firewall, do not deploy one.

I'm curious too why you want a second one so feel free to respond to guapo's question. :)

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

There's no "danger" in employing two firewalls, but it could introduce a conflict situation if the network access rules of each one do not match. It just doesn't make sense to employ two on the same network.
