Hi Hope some one can help. Have D link DI 614+ wireless modem I have set up the server with dial up modem to the D Link and have a wireless laptop connected to that via the D link. I set up this laptop with no problems at all via the web site ( 192.168.0.1) I a month later have tried to set up a second laptop but cannot access the website from dlink 192.168.0.1. I type in admin and it does not accept it What am I doing wrong?

It's possible the router has gone bad but more likely the admin password has been changed. Either you forgot/didn't realize you changed it or someone was being funny.

On the back of the router is a small, recessed RESET button. Press this, wait for the panel lights to stop blinking, and your router has been reset to factory defaults. Now run your router setup again and this time set a strong password - at least 9 characters with a mixture of letters and numbers and at least one special character from the top row of your keyboard: "-", "&", "%", etc. Something like, "S-w00rdfish".

I have a Dlink 524 and the reset is a small hole next to the LAN connection. You have to straighten out a paper clip and push into this hole and hold for 10 seconds and that is what resets the router. There is no button on mine. I hope this helps you.

thanks for the help so far. The admin password is set by d link and accesses their site so that cannot be changed as everyone uses it.
I will try the reset button as well and hope that works

No, the admin password controls access to the router's configuration menu. There's a factory default but you should always change this as part of the setup so no one can access it but you. Resetting the router restores factory defaults and you simply "start over".
