I have a Asus A7N8X-E motherboard in my main computer with a WIFI Wireless Lan Connector built in. I have this computer networked to another computer in my home thru a crossover cable. My question is can I continue to use the crossover network and use the wifi wireless as well to operate a laptop in the home? My understanding is that a crossover cable is only good for networking two computers and thats understood but would that also affect a wifi wireless connection in addition to that? Thanks for any responses.

Another note, both computers on the crossover network share a dsl connection on the main computer that has the wifi connector. The whole goal is to share the dsl internet connection with both the computers on the crossover network as well as the laptop that would be connected thru the wifi network if that is possible.
